What I got this Christmas. :D

So here are the stuff I got for Christmas. :)

From my best friend Cid, I got a wristlet bag thing (I dunno what it's called, sorry :P), but basically it's a little pouch that has a wrist tie.. thingy. Haha.

From another good friend Toni (a.k.a. Pailin, hehe :D) I got a pair of red dangling earrings and a matching red bangle/bracelet. I super love it. I used it today. :)

From my older sister Ate Imee - a big handbag. It's shiny with chunky strips of yellow green, rust orange, white, and black.ü

From my little nephew Matthew (with help from my Ate, his mom), an earring organizer. For my dangling earrings. Thanks, dear. :-*

From my other family members (although I do know that it's my DAD who bought them :D), I got the following. :D :

• a black Billabong hoodie. (thang God for outlet/surplus stores, haha.). Super snuggly and warm. ILOVEIT. :)
• a pair of dangling earrings and a silver bangle/cuff. I've been scarce on accessories so it was nice to receive these. :)
• and 3 books. What books were these? Well..

1. TWILIGHT (Stephenie Meyer)
Okay, so I was a little surprised I got this. But, okay, it's a gift. :) I actually read this already, with thanks to Cheska for lending it to me. Still haven't returned it because I haven't had another chance to see her again. Ngrr. Oh well. :D



2. I BECAME A CHRISTIAN AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOUSY T-SHIRT (Vince Antonucci)
I think I need this. A whole lot. Especially since I've been so preoccupied with school and other things that sometimes I forget about the Lord, which is who Christmas is really all about. If you notice the "tag" on the cover, it says "Replacing Souvenir Religion with Authentic Spiritual Passion". :) (Yes, it's a BOOK.)





3. ELDEST (Christopher Paolini)
This is the second book in the Inheritance Trilogy. I have the first one, which is Eragon (though I can't find it, wtf?? T_T). Now I have book 2. I have yet to own the kinda newly-released book 3, entitled Brisingr. I love how the covers are of dragons. Ooooohhhhlala. :D

AND THE GIFT THAT I LOVE LOVE LOVED

But it isn't colored like the ones in the above picture.
It's actually a newly released color, Graphite.
To put it in the simplest way possible it's the color of.. pencil lead. :D

What happened to CHRISTMAS? :(

Yes, I do see the lanterns.
Yes, I do see the glittering lights.
Yes, I do see the carolers (if not beggars) on the streets.
Yes, I do realize that I have gifts under the tree.
Yes, I do realize that it's the 23rd of December already.

But somehow.. Something's missing.
I don't really feel the Christmas spirit anymore.
The year's been great, really. But somehow.. It feels..
Christmas feels.. Well.. Kinda empty.

It's either I'm too old, or nothing special's happening.
Oh heck no, I'm not too old!
I'M NOT TOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.
Gaah. I dunno, really..

Even my best friend says so. We've felt Christmas in the past few years, but somehow this year's different.
Does college really do this to you?
It takes out the magic from Christmas?

The Sunday before Christmas. :P

First of all, we were late for church today.
End of story. :D

After that we went to our village's office for the administration Christmas party. (My dad's head of the board of directors so naturally the whole family comes along, haha XD) There was sooooo much food. But I'm on a "diet" so I didn't get much rice. Piled up on the ulam, though. HAHA. :D Pata tim, lumpia, kaldereta, and LECHON. Ohmigahd the lechon was terrific! Lechon is roasted pig, btw. It was cooked with lemongrass inside so the meat is juicy and delicious, even without sauce. :)

My dad even let me drink some light beer. Heehee. :">
And I took a sip of my older sister's vodka Sprite. :D

Am pretty sure that one of my gifts is a book.
Am pretty sure that one of my gifts is a new phone. :D

I even compared my dad's cellphone box (where the phone comes in) and felt the gift's edges. AHAHA. :D

It's almost Christmas!ü

It's almost Christmas.
I can't wait to open my gifts, haha! :D
*Kinda selfish, I know. Oh well.*

I'm generally happy since it's Christmas break and school starts 5th January.. And I get to see my cousins and relatives in the Jalandoni-Teves side of my family because we hold a sort of reunion every year.

NOTE TO SELF: Try not to eat too much. HAHAHA. :)))))))))))

Sad thing is, I probably won't see Luigi until next year! :""""(
We were talking last night and there's a chance that he'll be going to the States for Christmas, maybe even for New Year.. And I am seriously going to miss him! :""(
But I asked for pasalubong. Ahihihi. :"> He said he'll bring chocolate, since he knows I love them. I told him we have to share so I won't look like a pig, haha! :P

I don't have much to say, really. All I'm doing now while typing is eating leftover cake (from my nephew's birthday party) and listening to songs via MediaMonkey. Hehe.
And of course, talking to Z over MSN. :)
