I want a Shiba Inu puppy! They're like Akitas and Spitzes, but smaller. Like a little Akamaru from Naruto! :D

Inu is the Japanese term for dog, and the word Shiba usually refers to a red shrub. However, in Old Japanese, Shiba had the meaning "small", referring to the size. This is why the Shiba Inu is also called the Little Brushwood Dog. :]
It is one of the oldest dog breeds, dating back to the 3rd century BC.

I didn't know there were dogs so awesome! They remind me of foxes for some reason.. either way.. if I got a dog, it would be have to be a Shiba Inu.
