Why don't you GET LOST? :)

Tagged by Toni. :)

There are a whole lot of places where I'd like to go someday.. Make that a whole WORLD of places! ;) In the words of Discovery Channel: The world is just awesome. And I'd like to see that for myself. :] If I had the funds for it, I would definitely go to these wonderful countries.. :)

THAILAND

The Land of Smiles! The photo is of the Grand Palace in Bangkok. :)

My good friend Pailin (Toni to everyone else) introduced me, and infected me with the love of Thailand. CHAN RAK PRATHET THAI! :) I've always wanted to go to Bangkok, to explore this thriving commercial city and wander through Buddhist temples, journey on the Skytrain, taste wonderful Thai cuisine, and meet the people. And not forgetting the shopping districts! :D To Chiangmai, the Rose of the North, with its long history and age-old traditions. And it's the birthplace of my husband (haha), Witwisit Hiranyawongkul! (Sorry, Myungs! I got him first. ;) You have Boomy!) I want to absorb its breathtaking scenery, the wonderful gardens, the arts and crafts.. :) And to Phuket, with its world-reknowned beaches! Sun, fun, great seafood? All that, and the warmth of the Thai people.. What more could I ask for? :) Again, CHAN RAK PRATHET THAI! I love Thailand! :)

JAPAN

The Land of the Rising Sun. The photo is of Tokyo at Night. :)

The country intrigues me with its blend of its rich past with its revolutionary present. I'd like to go to Tokyo, where global business begins its day, Godzilla's playground, home of the Pokemon (I love em!), where East and West collide. It's called the World's Eastern Capital for that reason! 30 kilometers west of Tokyo, you'll find the city of Tokorozawa, Kanto region, Saitama prefecture. Within that, I'd love to go to the Goodwill Seibu Dome, home of the Saitama Seibu Lions! I'd like to watch one of their baseball games, and ogle over their infielder, Hiroyuki Nakajima. He's the reason why I continued to watch the 2009 World Baseball Series, along with Yu Darvish, starting pitcher for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. If I watched one of Yu's games, I'd have to go to the Sapporo Dome in Sapporo, Hokkaido region, Hokkaido prefecture.
Yes. It's practically on opposite ends of Japan (not really, but it's pretty far apart, I Google Earth-ed it), but I don't care! xD I want to go to Japan because of Hiroyuki Nakajima, Yu Darvish, and BASEBALL! :D

SPAIN

La Reino de España.. The Kingdom of Spain! The photo is of the Palacio Real in Madrid.
:)

This one has a special place in my heart. I have Spanish blood from my mother's side (I am a Jalandoni), and it is proudly manifested in my appearance (at least, I think so :D). I want to go to Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia. It is the home of the Sagrada Familia, designed by Antoni Gaudi. It's actually still under construction, but I'd really love to see its stunning architeecture, marked by 18 spindle-shaped towers. The massive church is rich with Chistian symbolism. I'd love to stroll at Park Güell, also designed by Gaudi, a visual masterpiece filled with mosaic, Catalan nationalism, and some elements of religious mysticism and ancient poetry. After there, I'd go to Madrid, the country's capital. I'd go walk around Parque del Buen Retiro, or, the Park of Pleasant Rest. It is filled with sculptures, monuments, galleries, and a peaceful lake. If I'm feeling artsy, I'd go to the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, the national museum of 20th century art, including excellent collections from Spain's two greatest 20th century artists, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. With a rich tapestry of culture and tradition, delicious cuisine, and innate passion, VIVA ESPAÑA! :)

ITALY

The home of many European cultures, Repubblica Italiana! The photo is of the Venetian Canals. :)

I would not miss the chance to go to Venice, where instead of streets they have canals, home to a vibrant Carnivale, the birthplace of romance and passion.. Why wouldn't I go there! :p I'd go to the Piazza San Marco, St. Mark's Square, a popular attraction among tourists, photographers, and the mainstay pigeons! I'd cross the Rialto Bridge, the oldest bridge across the canal and probably the most famous in the city. And I would definitely go to Rome, the Capital of Faith and Culture, the Eternal City, the birthplace of civilization, and where the past and present entwine in perfect harmony. I would visit the Colosseum, the Pantheon, go drop a coin and make a wish at the Trevi Fountain! I'd go to Piazza Navona and visit the Fountain of the Four Rivers. Oh, and the Vatican City, which is actually a COUNTRY! I would like to go to stroll around St. Peter's Square, visit St. Peter's Basilica, perhaps even attend mass officiated by the Pope (though I'm not Catholic, hehe). And how can I miss the Sistine Chapel, with well-preserved art by Michelangelo, Boticelli, Raphael, Bernini and other Italian artists. Italy is a country filled with art, history, religion, and of course, great food! :D

GREECE

The cradle of Western civilization! The photo is of the Parthenon in Athens. :)

The birthplace of Democracy, Western philosophy, the Olympic games, and many more! Greece is filled with remarkable historical wonders and architectural masterpieces. Of course, I would go to Athens, the capital city, one of the original city-states of ancient Greece. I'd marvel at the Parthenon, the temple of Athena, with its Doric as well as Ionic style of architecture and design, with is bas-relief friezes adorning the walls. Another landmark would be the Temple of Olympian Zeus, a colossal ruined temple. Dedicated to the supreme Olympian god Zeus, it was destroyed after being pillages in the 3rd century A.D. Despite that, it still remains a tourist attraction. I'd probably be looking for some, ehem, Greek "gods" too! :))

Puppy love.ü ♥

First of all, I love you, Zach. VERY VERY MUCH :]

I want a Shiba Inu puppy! They're like Akitas and Spitzes, but smaller. Like a little Akamaru
from Naruto! :D

That's Kiba and Akamaru right there :]

Here are some pictures of Shiba Inu, puppies and full grown ones. They're cute, either way!

Puppies! :"> They're soooooo cute ^^

Even the full grown ones are cute! :">

The Shiba Inu is the smallest of the six distinct breeds that hail from Japan, and it was originally bred for hunting. It is also called the Shiba Ken.

Inu is the Japanese term for dog, and the word Shiba usually refers to a red shrub. However, in Old Japanese, Shiba had the meaning "small", referring to the size. This is why the Shiba Inu is also called the Little Brushwood Dog. :]

It is one of the oldest dog breeds, dating back to the 3rd century BC.

*Thanks to Wikipedia, btw. :p*

I WANT ONE! :]

All for now. ^^

Down in Mexico.

Ever since Monday (I was still at Clark with my fam) I have had this song stuck in my head.

Down In Mexico by The Coasters. :D

I was watching Death Proof, one of the Grindhouse movies by Quentin Tarantino. I loved how they made it look old-fashioned and stuff. It was cool :P

The song was in the scene where Butterfly gives a lap dance to Stuntman Mike. UH HUH. =)))))))))))))

Moving on. :P
